TECNO recently added a new smartphone to the spark series under the name “TECNO Spark 3” which comes in two different models, have some similar features but are different. They both have 6.2-inch Fullview display with a notch, a 13MP +2MP rear camera, 8MP front-facing camera, 16GB of expandable storage and a 3,5000mAh battery capacity. However, both devices have different chipsets couples with different RAM configurations. Let’s get into the nitty-gritty.
Design and Display
If you place the Spark 3 Pro and the Spark 3 (2GB RAM) side by side, there’s literally no difference in their outlooks. Bezel-less notched screen clothing the frontal space, dual cameras positioned behind the phone and fingerprint sensor mounted close to the cameras. Also including the well-rounded edges and plastic embodiment of the device.
At the back of the device is a dual camera with an LED flash on the model with 2GB of RAM and a single rear camera also with an LED flash on the 1GB model. It also has a dual SIM slot and dedication MicroSD Slot for storage expansion.
Hardware and Software
What the Helio A22 chipset brings to the smartphone is the Quad-core 2.0GHz Cortex-A53 that’s smooth in operations. It provides minimal lagging of applications when compared to the chip used on the Spark 3 (1GB).
For you to know, a 2GB RAM is responsible for multitasking here. The workload on the RAM is reduced by the increasable 32GB internal storage. Even more, the PowerVR GE8320 GPU stationed on this chip provides quality graphics. In addition, Android 9.0 Pie is the software pre-installed on the phone.
Battery and Camera
No upgrade of any sort occurs in this department as the 3,500mAh battery is still the power source. However, you might experience more power consumption if you’re using the 4G LTE network for internet connection.
Camera-wise, you can churn out breathtaking social media-ready shots with the dual 13MP back cameras on the Tecno Spark 3 Pro. Asides from its LED flash balancing light conditions in poorly lit areas, the AI scene recognition helps to condition the camera settings to whatever objects or scenery in focus. The 8MP camera upfront disseminates cute pictures and videos.
